I don't like it one bit!

by faii acy Affiliate Marketer & money hunter
With the recent update to Apsense there are a lot more campaigns available, and a lot more credits for people to use to create campaigns with. So I have been studying what people are promoting more closely.

And guess what? 80%-90% of it is garbage. For example: the site that promises you $1 for each visit to your reflink? Nope, it's not going to work. At least not unless you do one of the trial offers required to get access to the cash request form. And it goes on and on...

There are no free rides. You will NOT make$100, $1000 with a few minutes work. Look at me. I'm on salary with a major CPA (Cost Per Action) affiliate and even supplementing that salary with a myriad of other online endeavours I take home in the range of $500-$1000/month. And I spend a LOT of time working, for the affiliate, and also promoting and making connections.

I don't promote things I haven't been paid from. Perhaps I may miss out from time to time, but I'm not going to say you can make money from something until I know you can. I started to today, testing out that famous $1 /reflink visit but killed my campaign as soon as I saw what they were really about.

And think about what you are promoting and wasting your credits on. We have all see WAZZUP. We have all seen JBP/JSS and whether we have joined those or not, seeing them 100 more times will not change our minds.

So let's stop the  crap, people. Yes you can make money online. But as much as I hate to tell you this, it will take WORK, it will take TIME, and in the beginning, you will make pennies.

Bravo ! It is time to change your game if your not moving the ball. Me i have no problem making changes mid stride if i realize a better way.. Some people get stuck unto chains they can not break from Like a disease! One fellow Apsenser said "Like a Zombie promotion". Mindless thoughtless advertising that lacks a soul..I have more respect for a custom made splash than a splah ive seen 100 times. I will go out of my way to leave a worthy comment if somebody put in the time to write something unique..

I agree. I wrote several articles with the same message myself. Sad thing is that many THINK they are promoting a solid program. They do not take the time to research a program or read anything that can educate them in choosing a good opportunity. Than there are those that have a good opportunity and think they work hard because they put in X hours a day. They think they are doing marketing and in reality they do nothing more than posting links. Many work without plan and structure. It is also true you do not make big money from start, but pennies. Simply for the reason you need to build a good online presence first. Most have to start with zero or little funds. I hope many will read this.

I totally agree with faii acy what he has written in this article. Most of campaigns are just a garbage and nothing else. I had also seen that some members post links in comments, which is a spamming.

This message has been spread by many people, and in many places, but I guess that the promise of instant riches can be a more powerful motivator. Someone struggling to make money to survive is easy prey for the shysters who recruit them with the fake promise of easy money from promoting their hollow programs. Although it's frustrating to have to sift through these worthless, junk opportunities, it is possible to develop a "nose" for them so that you know you can avoid them completely.

I have yet to get my head around the new design, but I feel that Apsense has grown out of the control of the admin and support staff. This is the price of success. At one time you had prolific articles that were interesting and educational to read. They are still out there, but it is becoming harder to find them as they get hidden behind the deluge of absolute rubbish that are tumbling around your ears and drowning the good stuff.

Looks like many of us are on the same page here. I was surfing through the traffic exchange and was amazed that there was literally nothing of value being offered. One junk program after another or someone's biz opp page. It's no wonder so many are failing out there.

Folks, we are all strangers until a relationship is created. No one is going go buy from you until they get to know you. Offer something of VALUE first, build a relationship and maybe once a person realizes you offer value and are a leader, they MAY join what you have to offer. The internet is an amazing place, but unfortunately it's not being used very well by the masses promoting biz opps. Ok, I'll step off my soap box now! ; )

Muriel & Graham Legg, it's a question of patience, of building relationships, of branding oneself properly, and using the APSense tools effectively, as well as other online tools and sites, like combining articles, RevPages, doing videos, posting on your blog, on Facebook groups, also taking the time to write meaningful comments, clicking on "like it" when you do like something. I prefer a site that has tons of activity to some places where not much happens. Don't forget, the spammers will go where their messages can be seen, it's a price we have to pay. We can report their behavior, or try to educate them, sometimes it works.

It is all relative. I am on a network that is much smaller and where there are no spammers and no scams advertised because they are deleted. All I post gets lots of page views from inside and outside the network. The pages are viewed voluntarily out of an interest and not because they receive credits, points or cash to visit them. I rather have 10 visits from people that want to than 1000 who only vieuw to earn credits or 0,0001 cash or what ever.

Phillipe? I don't even consider this to be spam. I see it more as people trying very hard to promote programs that are almost certainly never going to deliver what they promise. I remember the first things I tried out to make money, and how dismally I failed.

I just hate to see so many apparently falling for the "high and easy" profits being promised.
On the other hand, I am shocked and pleased by the response I have gotten to this little article, compared to some of the other drivel I have written.....

faii, what I meant about spamming is when people put links in comments, I see it as trying to steal the spotlight from the author's efforts. Writing an article or a RevPage is not spam

Love the article and you all have some good points but we are like ants trying to take on a big cookie. The problem is so big and I don't see it getting any better. The so called gurus come out with a free program every minute of the day sucking people in to build their list, promising a quick buck without having to pay do anything and the crap gets blasted to the social sites. I partly agree with relationship building as well, I think it's a waste of time talking to people who are convinced they can get something for nothing.

Now I got the point why more and more people seemed to be active after the site gets upgraded. Most of the Professional people are lost in this new change in my view as more and more unwanted campaigns and updates are seen in wall. Yet this new feed in the wall is attractive.

As a site gets more popular, it's harder to stand out from the crowd. Take it as a challenge to develop your marketing skills.
