I Dare You

I Dare You

Okay you ask, exactly what is it that I dare you to do?

I dare you to kneel down and spend the next 30 days in prayer to your deity.
I dare you to ask your mom to call you every day with encouragement.
I dare you to read Rich Dad Poor Dad or any of the other thousands of books out there that teach and inspire. Then I dare you to thank them for your success!

Sounds pretty ridiculous when put that way yet that is almost exactly what most people do who achieve some level of success without understanding the why of it. It is also why they find it almost impossible to repeat that success and spout phrases like “Opportunity only knocks once”.

My library starts with Aristotle and goes all the way to Robert Kyosaki and Donald Trump and yes I have read thousands of hours of material.  But not once has that put a penny in my pocket or earned me anything!

I had to take what I learned to heart, to use it to fuel my drive towards my goal.  But most importantly I had to take action on it!  I dare you to do all the studying you want and then show me how it makes you successful because unless you implement what you have learned it does nothing for you!

No mother, mentor, deity or cheering section can help you achieve anything unless you believe the message and take it to heart by implementing it.  It is from your actions that all your results will occur.

Yes you need to have a dream, an idea as you starting point.  And yes you must to want to fulfill it with all your heart and soul but most importantly you must take the final step… you must take action.

It is when the mind, heart, soul and body are all acting in accord with each other that success is the natural order of results.  Like a cake the ingredients must be in proper proportion, well mixed and finally set by baking them in order to achieve the desired result.

So I dare you to have a dream!
I dare you to believe in your dream!
I dare you to believe in yourself enough to follow that dream!
I dare you to do or learn what you need to do to make it come to life!
I dare you to make it happen!

I dare you.

Wow! Can't say that I've ever read an article like this one with the "dares." Interesting concept. Do you mind telling me just what brought these daring sensations on? LOL

I Love this. You have hit on the one key that is always missing and why I detest the 'positivity' movement. There is nothing wrong with being positive, but you can have positivity coming out of your rear end but nothing will happen until you yourself get off your rear end and make it happen!

Hi Brenda, Several years ago after spending 3 1/2 hours on the phone with a gentleman who kept telling me why he was failing and after umpteen repeated requests as to what he was doing he FINALLY admitted that he had no idea why he made a few sales occasionally then relapsed into obscurity... so in the end he really did nothing, he was to afraid to try... so I dared him.... hence the article.
