by Lakshman J. Professional Blogger & WritterHolidays are a great time to relax and refresh your mind and even though they may not always be expected as right now during a pandemic. Still holidays are a time where you can unwind yourself and start afresh when the school opens again. It also becomes essential that during this time especially during a lock-down that we use this time doing something productive. So here is a guide to help you with your boredom blues:
1. Reflecting and goal setting: It always makes sense to learn from your mistakes and what better time will you find than these holidays where you can look back at the past year and understand what went right and what did not go well for you. You can devise a study strategy for the coming year. You can also practice CBSE previous year question papers to understand what topic you need more understanding in the coming year and which topics to revise from the last year. This is the correct time to get started. You should also start planning your goals in terms of how much syllabus you would like to complete by which month.
2. Improve your writing skills: If you have seen CBSE previous year question papers class 10 you would understand that this skill will help you the most to score well in your English exam but that's not the only reason why I would recommend it. The point I am trying to make is that writing skills go well beyond just an English. Of course, it will help you to write better answers to all the other subjects too. And even beyond school, writing skills are essential for almost all the other activities including those beyond schools such as college SOPs or even jobs. It can also help you to write a beautiful caption for your Instagram.
3. Watch informative videos: Learning should not just be limited to books. And today we are very blessed to be surrounded by lots of fun activities that enrich your learning. Informative videos can be watched which will help you clear your concepts or solve CBSE previous year question papers, these can help you learn better while it will feel no burden to do the same.
4. Learn a new skill: As you may already know that today in this competitive world bookish knowledge will hardly help you achieve your goals and hence you should pay equal attention to learning new skills such as public speaking, cooking, drawing, Self-defense all these can be done from home while watching tutorials online. And studies have shown that students who use their free time in creative activities such as these, learn better while studying. Developing a new skill also boosts confidence which is another essential skill in today’s world.
Conclusion: The above can be followed easily without much hassle but it is also necessary that you rejuvenate yourself during these vacations and reward yourself for every activity that you complete. Also remember to follow a routine, eat well and stay healthy. Unfold U helps you to learn while also allowing you to enjoy it.
