How to use the News+ service of Apple News app

News+ is the subscription service that Apple has added to the News app. The service is available for free only for one month trial. News+ subscription provides you content from premium newspapers and more than 300+ magazines. Do not get confused, you can still use the News app for free and get your personalized and top news for free. If you’re interested in the new News+ service, then gets its subscription, and it also works Family Sharing. You can use the subscription with up to six members without paying any additional charge. Here is how to use the New+ on Apple News app.

How to open and read articles and magazines

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Open the ‘News+’ tab.

3. Browse through the catalog to find a magazine to read.

4. You can also open ‘My Magazines/Favorites’ to read a magazine from there.

5. Tap the ‘Headline’ of the magazine you’re interested in.

6. If the magazine is in PDF view, tap the ‘Thumbnail’ on its cover to open the magazine.

7. Under “My Magazines/Favorites,” you’ll get articles.

8. Choose the article you want to read, tap on it to open.

How to save articles

Save the interesting articles to read them later with the below steps.

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Open the article you want to read later.

3. Tap the ‘Share’ icon at the top-right side of the article.

4. On the prompted share menu, scroll to the bottom.

5. Tap the ‘Save’ icon to save the article.

The article will add to the saved stories. Now, whenever you want you can read your saved article.

How to open your saved articles

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Click on the ‘Following’ tab at the bottom.

3. Scroll to the bottom, and tap on ‘Saved Stories.’

Your saved articles in on your screen, select the one you want to read.

How to share articles and magazines

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Open the ‘News+’ tab.

3. Scroll through the Featured articles to get an interesting to read and share.

4. You can also find a magazine or article, with the above guidelines.

5. Tap on an ‘Article’ to open and read it.

6. Tap the ‘Share’ icon at the top-right side of the article, if you want to share it.

7. On the prompted option, find the app with which you want to share the article.

8. Tap on an ‘App’ to select for sharing your article.

Now, select a person to share and send.

How to add magazines to favorites

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Open the ‘News+’ tab.

3. Browse through the catalog to find interesting magazines.

4. Tap on the ‘Magazine or Content,’ you like.

5. Tap on ‘Magazine name’ at the top to open its profile page.

6. Tap the ‘Heart’ icon to add magazines to the favorites.

The magazine will add to your favorites. You can also search for a magazine to add it to your favorites. Here is how to add magazines directly to the favorites.

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Click on the ‘Following’ tab at the bottom.

3. Open the ‘Search’ bar.

4. Search for the magazine, you are looking for.

5. Select the ‘Magazine’ you want to add to favorites.

6. Tap the ‘Heart’ icon next to the name.

Alternatively, you can open the magazine, go to its profile page, and add them to your favorites.

How to view your magazines

After adding the magazines to your favorites, you can easily and quickly open and see them when you want. Here is how to access “My Magazines.”

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Open the ‘News+’ tab.

3. Under the Categories, find ‘My Magazines.’

4. In the My Magazines section, tap ‘See all’ option.

All of your favorite magazines are on the screen.

How to view and delete News app history

1. Open the ‘News’ app.

2. Click on the ‘Following’ tab at the bottom.

3. Scroll to the bottom, and tap on ‘History.’

4. Tap ‘Clear’ at the top-right corner.

5. On the prompt, select your choice.
