How to Update your Acer Driver

You can also check whether your device needs an update or not. Navigate to the Device Manager which will show you a list of the entire hardware device on your system. If next to the hardware device name there is a yellow triangle and exclamation mark then it is a time to update its driver.

To manually update your Acer driver, you are supposed to follow the below-mentioned steps carefully:

  • Browse any website and search for Acer driver on its genuine site and click on Download the latest driver file.
  • If a file is in the .exe format, simply click twice on the file or file is on another format go to the control panel and then select Device Manager.
  • Then go to the driver you have downloaded right click on it and select properties.
  • Select driver tab and click on update driver.
  • Choose ‘browse my computer for driver software’ and from it select ‘let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer’.
  • Search for the driver file (.inf) and hit the next button.
  • Now your Acer driver is has been installed.
