It won’t work if you have an iPod model earlier to iPod iTouch. This feature even works, having your device is disconnected to PC. The most important feature of iTunes that it syncs your music files automatically on your synced devices.

  • First of all, navigate to the Settings application of your iPod.
  • Then, hit the option Music and enable Sync Library feature.
  • Next, launch the Music app on your system and press the Music section there.
  • Tap on the “Preferences” option, and after that, activate the feature that is located just beneath the tab “General.”

Note: In case you haven’t subscribed to your device for Apple Music, then you will not be able to view other options.

Bringing Back All Your Past Purchases

In case you wish to access songs and music tracks you have purchased from iTunes Store, then you can install earlier music purchases on your Mac or PC even if you haven’t subscribed to Apple Music. The process is so simple for both Mac and PC desktops:

  • In the beginning, hit the Account option.
  • After that, tap on the “Purchased” section. It will launch the music window that you made purchase some time ago.
  • In case you wish to fetch other songs that are not stored on your system or device’s library, then tap on the “Not in My Library” option. It will be located at the top area of the expanded page. This action will fetch you all the music tracks that are not stored on your system.
  • Next, hit the Cloud shaped symbol to download all the available music albums in your music library. This icon will be located at the top right-hand side edge of your album page.
  • Ensure to have a strong internet connection as it may take some extra time to process the operation.
  • Once the download finishes, all the selected albums will be stored in the music library.
  • There are multiple applications available on the web to which you can take assistance to manage all your media, including music on your Apple gadget. These applications work on Mac and PC both for your compatibility with ease.
