How to Transfer an Image onto Cotton T-Shirt Using Iron on Transfer Paper ?

Let's see How to make your own garment by the transfer process

Prepare:

1) T-shirt transfer paper 

2) Inkjet printer with pigment ink

3) Heat press machine

4) Isolation paper

5) Dark-colored T-shirt of 100% cotton


Usage Introduction:

1. Mirror Printing
·Printer set up. Recommend the select "Quality Inkjet Paper" mode for satisfactory printing result
·Mirror printing the wishful image onto the transfer paper. Then leave it to dry for about 10 minute
·Cut out the image, leaving a narrow margin of 5mm around the pattern edges.

2. Transferring
·Preheat the heat press machine, and set the recommended transfer temperature 185°C
·Place the image-printer paper on the textile, printed (image) side facing down
·Transfer for 15-30 seconds under certain pressure, then remove the textile from the machine
·Peel off the base paper immediately, or when it is warmed or cooled for your best results.

3. Washing
·It's best not to wash the textile in 24 hours after transferring.
·Washing the textile in cold or 30-40°C, with transferred pattern inside out.
·Do not wash with strongly alkaline detergents, and do not bleach. Avoid rubbing the transferred pattern when hand washing
·Do not wring. Line dry in shade recommended.
