1. Manually Update QuickBooks

  • Firstly, restart QuickBooks and select the option from the help section to update QuickBooks.

  • Download the update files manually and click on Install Now.
  • Latest update version of QB will be installed.
  • Now go to the Employees tab and click on payroll updates.
  • Download the full payroll update.

2. Login as Window’s Administrator

  • Ensure that QB Desktop is closed.
  • Now right-click on Desktop option.
  • Choose “Run as administrator” and select Yes.

3. Verify “Use TLS 1.0” is Checked or Not

  • Close QuickBooks and open Internet Explorer.
  • Now click on Tools and then go to Internet Options.
  • Click on Advanced tab >> Advanced Settings.
  • Click on Use TLS 1.0, Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 options.
  • Next, verify Use TLS 1.0 is checked.
  • Verify Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2 are not checked.
  • Close the window by clicking on Ok.
  • Reboot your system and reopen QB Desktop.
  • Now download the update again.

Restart Windows in Selective Startup:

  • Close QuickBooks Desktop and choose Run.
  • Check the Windows version:
             a) Windows XP: Start > Run
             b) Windows 7 and Vista: Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run
             c) Windows 8 and 10: Press the Key and Letter R on your Keyboard

  • Now go running Field, type MSConfig and click on Ok.
  • The System Configuration Utility will open.
  • You have to choose the Selective Startup.
  • Click on Ok to save changes.
  • Restart your system.
  • Now reopen QuickBooks and download the latex table.
  • Follow the initial 4 steps, if the update is downloaded successfully.
  • Select Normal Startup box and click on Ok.
  • Restart your PC again.
