For Windows 7,8,10 or Vista.
o Close the QuickBooks Desktop Application
o Right-click on ‘My Computer’ and choose ‘Manage’ option
o On the left side click ‘Services and Applications’
o Double click on the ‘Services’ option
o Now search the Intuit QuickBooks FCS service from the list
o Go to the ‘General Tab’ and click the start-up type drop-down menu
o Click ‘Manual’ and then Click Apply
o Now click the ‘Start button’ and press OK
o Now open the QuickBooks Desktop and download product updates
o Finally, the payroll tax tables should be updated
For Windows XP.
o Close the QuickBooks Desktop Application
o Right-click on ‘My Computer’ and choose ‘Manage’ option
o Now from the Computer Management screen click Services and Applications drop-down list
o Click Services and search for Intuit QuickBooks
o Double click the Intuit QuickBooks FCS service
o Go to the General tab, click the Startup Type drop-down menu and choose Manual
o Click OK and open QuickBooks
o Now open the QuickBooks Desktop and download product updates
o Finally, the payroll tax tables should be updated
