Cleaning with a vinegar solution

If mixed with hot water it is perfect to remove all sorts of liquids (coffee, tea etc..) by following the steps below:
Dampen a sponge with a mixture of white vinegar and hot water and scrap the stain gently with the sponge. You may also spray a small quantity of the vinegar directly on the stain and then dab gently at the stain with a towel.
Blot out the vinegar solution
Vinegar can be also used to remove grease stains:
Apply some dish soap on the stain and then rub gently with a toothbrush.
Pour a small quantity of white vinegar on the stain and let soak. The stain will disappear.
Rinse with water and blot up the vinegar solution with a towel.
The power of baking soda
Baking soda is, among its several functions, a great carpet stain remover. Choosing baking soda is the right move to remove red wine and coffee stains. However, it is useful to remove all sort of non-greasy as well as greasy stains. To remove such stains it is sufficient to sprinkle some baking soda on the stain, let sit and then vacuum.
Dish soap
Using dish soap to remove a stain from a carpet is a good way for a quick removal without having to buy specific products. Dish soap works on almost every kind of stain. It needs to be used along with warm water and white vinegar for an easy and efficient stain removal according to the following steps:
Mix the dish soap with a cup of warm water
Apply the mixture on the stain and then blot up
Mix a cup of white vinegar with a two-thirds cup of warm water
Apply the mixture on the stain and then blot up
Dry the area using a pad of paper towels.
Harsh stains too can be efficiently removed using dish soap. For example, a gentle and effective way to get rid of a grease stain will be sprinkling baking soda on the spot and then rub dish soap all over. Finally, for a complete removal you just need to vacuum the carpet.
