How to Plan a Destination Wedding

Planning a destination wedding for yourself or your loved ones? That’s a great idea as the wedding will turn out to be a memorable event not just for you or your loved ones but for your guests as well. A special occasion definitely deserves special treatment. Have you thought of which destination to look at? You could pick either one of the Goa wedding resorts or wedding resorts in Kerala for a special themed destination wedding. Choose an apt destination: Choose a destination that all parties involved agree upon. Also, a destination that means something special to the couple! Consider the guest list: Be absolutely sure of the numbers so you could book accordingly. When you have the guest list and notify them in advance, it is easy to set the ball rolling.

Arrive ahead of your guests: If you are organizing the destination wedding for your loved ones in say, Kerala, it helps to arrive in advance to oversee the preparations. It also helps to take into account the weather so you can book either an outdoor venue or a hall for the event. If it is Goa, you might want to take advantage of the beach, especially if it’s a less-touristy white sand beach location such as Varca. It also helps to check out other facilities like the spa or the pool to make it a little special for the couple. A nice couples massage at the spa in one of the wedding resorts in Kerala would be a gift to cherish for the bride and groom!

Carry out a dress rehearsal: Don’t forget to get a rehearsal done! This includes the seating arrangements, special AV presentations such as music or video, and the entrances/exits for guests or the couple to enter so nothing is out of place on the big day.
