How to park a car in a parking lot

Parking a car in a parking lot can be difficult, especially for a new driver. Sometimes, the spaces to park a car are small and the parking lot can be very crowded, which makes the situation much more difficult. There are three different types of spaces for parking a car in the parking lots: diagonal, perpendicular and parallel. You must be proficient in parking a car in these parking lots before passing the driving test or driving on the street. This article will discuss the tips for parking a car in different types of parking spaces.

Parking a car in a diagonal space:-

1.    Find a space to park a car that is not surrounded by many cars. It will be easier to practice parking with fewer obstacles on the road.

·         You should practice in a parking lot that is not crowded.

·         You can make some mistakes when you learn to park a car.

·         There is less chance of you crashing something when you   practice your   skills to park a car in a car-free area.

·       This is not just a good idea for people who learn to drive. It is recommended that you practice parking and driving a car a bit before moving over long distances if you have not driven for a long time.

2.    Position the car.

·        The vehicle must be in the right place, away from the cars and at a correct  distance from your place so that you can correctly place the tire. [1]

·        Make sure there is at least 1.50 meters or 1.80 meters (5 or 6 feet) between your vehicle and other parked cars.

·        Try to judge a distance of 1.50 or 1.80 meters (5 or 6 feet) from cars if there are not any in the spaces near yours.

·        This is so that when stations you can use the rest of the steps to correctly place the tire.

3.    Turn on the signal light when you have found a space to park.

·        This will make the drivers know that you are going to park your car.

·        Drive slowly forward until you see the centre of the parking space you want to use.

·        Be aware of the other drivers. Do not take a space that someone has been waiting for.

·         Make sure no one is trying to retreat to a nearby location as you drive forward.

4.    Flip the tire drastically.

·         You must do it when you see the centre of the parking space. [3]

·         Make sure the car is stationary about 1.50 meters (5 or 6 feet)   away from cars or empty parking spaces as you begin to turn.

·         You will have to turn the tire to almost half a turn.

·        Make sure there are no shopping carts or other objects in the space.

·        Drive slowly forward to enter the space. Stop completely when the car is completely inside the place.

·        Make sure the car is inside the place to avoid getting a ticket.

5.    Straighten the wheels.

·         You can do it when the car is immobile.

·         You must make sure that the tires are straight so that you can   back up to go straight out of the place.

·         You can straighten the tires just before backing up.

·         However, it is best to practice it when seasons.
