Time Management for SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam

Focusing on the More Important Topics
Especially during the final days of your exam preparation, it is important that you focus only on those sections and topics that are critical to the paper. Make a note of all the sections that have high weight age. Spend your time practicing these, so that you are able to emerge with better scores.

Planning your Revision
Covering the entire syllabus once is just not good enough. There is no substitute to revision. Even though it may seem like a cumbersome task, it is ideal to start well in advance, divide the weeks you have at hand for different subjects and do justice to each of the subjects. If you are finding it challenging to remember the formulae or tricks for the Quantitative Aptitude (Maths) and Reasoning Section, you know that you need to give it more time.

Devoting time to Mock Test Series
After revision, comes the time for mock tests. Without attempting mock test papers your preparation will remain incomplete. Do not forget to create a time map of how you intend to solve the paper. Here, you can define the section that you will be solving first and the order that will follow. It is ideal to focus on that section first which you are most comfortable dealing with and then move on to others.

Allocating Time for Error Analysis and Doubt Clearing
Taking the mock tests alone will not do the trick. Without error analysis and doubt clearing, there will not be much improvement in your performance. You will end up making the same mistakes as you made earlier. Sufficient time must go into threadbare analysis of your mistakes. Once this error analysis has been done, you may consult your SSC coaching professors for help and doubt clearing.
