How to keep your eyes healthy

The eye is the most crucial part of our body. You should not take your eyes for granted. One should be extra alert when it comes to eye safety. Eyecare is must.
Follow these steps to keep your eyes healthy.

1. Eat well- Take a balanced diet which includes all the minerals and vitamins, especially vitamin A because it is suitable for eyes.
Try to fill your plate with green leafy vegetables like spinach, broccoli, etc.
Take oranges, Tuna fish, Eggs, beans, etc. A well-balanced diet is good for the eyes.

2. Wear Glasses- Always wear glasses while stepping out. The right pair of shades will protect your eyes from the UV rays because too much of UVs can harm your eyes and also can lead to Cataracts.

3. Quit smoking-Try to quit smoking because it is not suitable for the eyes. Smoking can lead to cataracts and can damage your optic nerve. If you are unable to quit it, try to take doctors' help.

4. Stay away from computers.
Try to take a break from computers because continuously working on computers can lead to digital eye strain. Digital eye strain is one of the factors of the dry eyes. Not only this it will lead to headache, blurry vision, neck and shoulder pain. Try to take a break from the screen for at least 20 minutes.

5. Visit your doctor
The most important thing is always to visit your Doctor. Don't take your eyes for a granted visit it regularly whenever you feel like. Also before visiting you must know about your doctor. Know your ophthalmologist.
