How To Increase New Patients Conversion

by Ginger Bratzel New Patient Attraction Automation
Today’s economy, every business is trying to reduce the cost of running their business and utilizing on the assets they do have. Dental practices haven’t been spared either as they have started feeling the pinch because of the stiff economy. As a dental practitioner, you have to consider coming up with efficient ways on how to keep your dental schedule full and increase new patients in your dental office. You do not need to spend any extra cash to do this but instead you just have to re-purpose what you have already invested and the assets you have in your dental office.

The way the team carries out the first dental visit as they step in your office will determine a lot of what they might have been hearing about your services and level of care. Build a strong relationship and be unique from others. Some patients are shy and afraid to verbalize their issues. Hand them a clipboard and a form and start to build a connection from there. This approach will keep your dental schedule full because this connection will help you to know where patients think they are and where they want to be.

Ask them open questions to know more about their situation. Let them be free to tell you what they want and what they don’t want. This will give you a pinpoint of what you should do and where you have to start from. This is one way of keeping your dental schedule full. Ensure you get right what they say and don’t change anything they say by repeating it back to them exactly like they said it.  . If you do, you will change the meaning to them and they will look at what they want from a different perspective.

You should have your systems in place because the major purpose of why you’re doing the consultation is to get the inside of the patient’s mind. Get them involved by telling them why you’re taking the photographs, how you’re collecting your data, probably what are the possible solutions, as this will help them to understand and accept treatment when they see the doctor. Make them understand what is going on.

Another way of keeping your dental schedule full is through getting your dental patients to invest mentally into their treatment and moving forward with care.

Patient satisfaction is the key factor that you have to consider. Your team should handle the first appointment in a timely manner. These assets are the ones many dental practitioners are wasting and they end up wasting thousands of dollars to fill dental schedule. Have your systems in place, have a good and welcoming staff, let your office be accommodative, let patients have a new positive experience and this is how you’ll attract patients and keep your dental schedule busy.
