How to Increase Inventory Space in Resident Evil 2 with Hip Pouch Location

by Lucas Smith developer
Resident Evil is among the most well-renowned horror-genre game adored globally. The game has been critically acclaimed, but you may face some space issues in Resident Evil 2. If players want to increase the capacity of inventory, then they have to capture pouches. Every time you find a hip pouch, it will allow you to add two objects. Resident Evil series is famous for its inventory, and hip pouches help in the management of the inventory and one by one increase the capacity of a player. This allows players to carry extra first aid kit and weapon inventory.
Here, Claire and Leon have the option of increasing 12 slots means six pouches. Getting all these makes you eligible to get The Waist of Space achievement. The location of pouches doesn’t change in a different playthrough.
Police Station’s Hip Pouch: Pouch number 1
The first hip pouch is at the police station. Walk toward the Storage Room at West (where the statue of Maiden is situated). This room is very cluttered and dark, and these are the chance that you can miss it for the first time. You can locate the hip pouch on the table, which is just opposite to the destroyed barricade. Just come near the table do as the popped up message to take the pouch.
Police Station’s Hip Pouch: Pouch number 2
The next one is safely hidden in the safe of the Polish Station’s Westside office. Here you have to crake a code to get this pouch. This code is on the second floor of the S.T.A.R.S. office. The code is Left9, Right15, Left7. After entering the code, you are now able to take the hip pouch.
Police Station’s Hip Pouch: Pouch Number 3
To get this pouch, you had to have 2 keys in the Safety Room for the keypad, which was broken. These keys are hidden in the safe, which is portable. This safe is in the Police Station (its location changes depending upon the time you are playing).
In the case of the first playthrough, this is found to be in the Shower room on the second floor in the case of the second playthrough in the interrogation room on the first floor.
These safes have random codes. So there are no available shortcuts here. Now just start tapping those keys to find the right 8 numbered code sequence. After getting the safe codes, you will have a single key. This can allow you to unlock some of the gear. You can’t access the pouch in locker number 203 if you can’t access the number 3 and 2.
Sewer’s Pouch: Pouch Number 4
This hip pouch is placed in the Operator Room in Sewer Underground Facility. This can be taken by the locker, which is placed next to the claim. You just have to pass through the room to access the pouch. Keep yourself active so that you don’t miss the pouch on the way.
Sewer’s Pouch: Pouch Number 5
For this one, Go to the Sewer’s upper level. Here go to the workroom. Now, to open the door, you have to use the T-bar. Through this activity, you will be able to find the way over lift. When you enter the WorkRoom, you will observe some dead Zombies on the ground. The hip pouch will be lying on the table. Interact and add 2 more slots.
Laboratory’s Hip Pouch: Pouch Number 6
This is the final hip pouch that you can gain. This is located in the laboratory’s Nap Room. Before you go in here, notice that it is dark, so you have to find a way to turn on the power first. So you need a Signal Modulator to do that. Its location changes depending on it is your first game through or second.
In the case of first game-through, it is located in that unnamed room B1, next to the Lobby, in the east arena of the laboratory.
On the second game-through, you can find it next to the dead body of the soldier in the Central Lift.
After obtaining the Signal Modulator, turn on the power of Nap room. When the lights turn on of the room, you can find the Hip Pouch:), an Mt Raccoon, and some zombies:(. Extra 12 slots can improve your gaming experience by increasing weapon efficiency and compatibility. Here you can use them to collect ferry items too.
