HOW TO FIX THE OUTLOOK SEARCH NOT WORKING?

REMOVE THIRD-PARTY OUTLOOK ADD-IN

 

The first solution is to remove third-party outlook add-ins. Outlook search issues can occur due to the third-party add-in creating conflict with indexing. The answer is to remove or disable any third-party add-in installed for your Outlook account.

 

       Open Outlook and click on the File option placed at the top-right corner

       Choose options from the menu 

       Select the Add-ins tab from the left panel

       Go to the bottom and click on the drop-down menu for Manage 

       Select COM add-ins and then click Go

       Select recently installed Add-in options and click on Remove

       Next, relaunch Outlook and check if the Outlook search something went wrong error resolves

       If it doesn’t resolve, remove all the add-ins one by one till you find the problematic add-ins

REBUILD INDEXING
