Remove Steam Cookies and Cache

  2. You should click on the Steam and choose the Settings option.
  3. After that, choose the ‘Web Browser’ then select the ‘DELETE WEB BROWSER CACHE’ option.
  4. Then select the OK button.
  5. Later, choose the ‘DELETE ALL BROWSER COOKIES’ option.
  6. You have to pick the OK button.
  7. Now, choose the Download button and select the ‘CLEAR DOWNLOAD CACHE’ option.
  8. Go to the OK button and click on it.
  9. Finally, restart the Steam.

Turn off Auto Proxy Settings

  7. Navigate to the Steam, and right-click on it, then select the Uninstall button.
  8. Pursue the steps to uninstall the Steam then wait for the procedure to finish.
  9. Thereafter, download the Steam and then install it.
  10. Once again, pick the Steam button, and right-click on it then choose the ‘Open file location.’
  11. Now, shift to the backup folder of ‘steamapps’ you made before and then reboot Steam.
