Check energy saver settings
1. Firstly, press on the Apple symbol.
2. Then, press on the System Preferences. It will be placed in the pull-down menu.
3. After that, go to Energy Saver. Over there you need to go through all of the settings carefully.
4. Note that the Energy Saver window comprises of two options. One is the ‘Battery,’ and the other is the ‘Power Adapter.’ See the display settings in these.
  •  ‘Turn display off after’ should not be put to ‘never.’
  •  If ‘Turn display off after’ option has been put for a longer time, then note that it postpones the sleep time of the device. Set it to your own liking.
  • Clear the square placed near the option ‘’Prevent computer from sleeping automatically when the display is off, in the Power Adaptor option.”
  • Clear the square placed near the option stating ‘’Wake for Wi-Fi network access, in the Power Adaptor option.”
5. Then, press on Schedule from the end of the page.
6. Next, make sure that the device is never put on a schedule for Wake up. Set it to your own liking.
Restrict Activity Monitor application
1. Firstly, visit the Applications.
2. Then, click on Utilities.
3. After that, launch Activity Monitor application or use Spotlight for searching the application.
4. Next, tap on the Energy option. It will present in the menu options.
5. The Preventing Sleep column shows the processes which are stopping the device from going to sleep.
6. If you find Yes in the given column, then you need to close the corresponding application.
Restrict Bluetooth Devices from waking up the Mac device
1. Firstly, press on the Bluetooth symbol. It will be located in the menu box. 
2. Then, press on Open Bluetooth Preferences.
3. After that, go to the dialogue box and choose Advanced from the end of the window.
4. Next, clear the box next to the option stating ‘’Allow Bluetooth Devices To Wake this Computer’’. It will be located in the pull-down options.
5. Then, press ‘OK.’
6. Lastly, exit the window.
