On Google Chrome

Majority of Windows users prefer Chrome over other browsers and to disable the tracking protection from your Chrome browser, follow the guidelines below:

  • At first, open up the browser with the double-click on its shortcut on the desktop.
  • After opening up of the browser, click on the three dots to open up the menu at the top right corner of the screen.
  • From the options, click on the Settings option.
  • Now, choose the Advanced option inside Settings tab.
  • After that, find the Do Not Track request with your browsing traffic option.
  • Now, shift the slider available next to it disable it.
  • At last, reopen Chrome browser and check if the issue occurs.

On Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is a popular and most used browser on Windows software. Many of the users prefer this browser over others, and it has some unique features in it that users do not find in other browsers. To disable the Tracking protection in your Mozilla Firefox browser, follow the steps listed below:

  • Open up the Firefox browser with the double-click on its shortcut available on the desktop.
  • After opening up of the browser, click on the menu option at the top right corner of the screen.
  • Now, choose Options from the menu and click on it.
  • Inside Options tab, look for Privacy & Settings option that usually available at the right-side menu.
  • Now scroll down to find Tracking Protection option.
  • You make sure you set that radio button to Only in Private windows or Never option.
  • After that, reopen the browser and check if the issue persists.

On Microsoft Edge

 Microsoft Edge is the default browser comes with Windows 10 software. Edge is quite to use browser loaded with lots of amazing browsing features. To remove tracking protection from your Edge browser, follow the steps listed below:

  • At first, open Microsoft Edge with a double click on its shortcut on the screen or by choosing it from the taskbar.
  • After opening up of the browser, click on the three dots available at the top right corner of the screen.
  • Now, choose Settings from the menu and click on it.
  • Inside Settings, select Privacy & Security.
  • Under the Privacy & Security section, scroll down and navigate to the Send Do Not Track Requests option by turning on the slider.
  • At last, reopen the browser and check if the error persists.

By checking and disabling all the extensions

Indeed, Extension in a browser makes browsing quite convenient, but these extensions often cause such errors too which sometimes prevents even from using the browser at all. There are hundreds of extensions that are quite compatible with the majority of browsers. And if you suspect an issue with the extensions, then you need to check them all manually and disable the problematic ones. To do so, follow the guidelines below:

On Google Chrome

Most of the extensions are compatible with Chrome browser and there are chances that one of them is causing this error on your Windows PC. If it’s the scenario, you need to disable every Extension and check which one is causing the issue. To do the same, go through the guidelines below:

  • Double-click on the Chrome browser on its shortcut on the desktop to open it up.
  • Next, click on the three dots available at the top right corner of the screen.
  • After clicking on the dots, click on the New incognito window option from the list.
  • If the option is not available in the list, search it in the Start menu.
  • If the error is still occurring on your PC, click on the same three dots and select More Tools.
  • Under More Tools section, choose extensions.
  • A list will appear with the name of every Extension you are using on your Chrome browser.
  • Now, check each and every extension one by one manually.
  • As the process is time-consuming, start checking with the most suspected ones.
  • After that, click on Details.
  • Now, shift the slider to Allow in incognito to On.
  • At last, repeat the process until you find that problematic Extension and click on the remove button to disable it on your PC.

On Mozilla Firefox

If you are using Mozilla Firefox browser on your Windows 10 PC and are facing the issue under discussion, then you need to disable the problematic Extensions on your Firefox browser. To do so, follow the steps listed below:

  • Open up the browser with a double-click on its shortcut on the desktop.
  • Now, click on Help and then select the Restart with Add-ons Disabled option from the menu.
  • Next, select the menu available at the top right corner of the screen and then select Add-ons and click on the extensions option.
  • Now, enable them one by one and find the problematic one.
  • After finding the Extension, remove it from your computer by choosing the remove option with a right-click on it.

On Microsoft Edge

To disable the extensions on your edge browser, follow the guidelines listed below:

  • At first, open up the Microsoft Edge browser on your Windows 10 PC with a double click on its shortcut on the desktop.
  • Next, press Ctrl + Shift + P keys altogether to open up the Private tab.
  • Next, click on the three-button and select Extensions option.
  • Disable them all once the list appears of all extensions.
  • After that, enable all of them one by one and find out which one is causing this error on your PC.
  • After finding that Extension, right-click on it.
  • Choose the Remove option.
  • After that, click on the OK button to confirm its removal from your PC.
  • At last, reopen the browser and check if the issue persists.
