Method-1: Activate Windows by using the Command Line Tool

Firstly, you have to obtain your MAK key direct from the IT admin.
Then, launch an Elevated Command Prompt.
After that, type and run the following key in the command window to install the product key or replace the older one:

vbs –ipk <your mak key>

Again, type the following command:

vbs –ato

Then, press Enter key.
Finally, this will automatically activate the Windows after connecting to the Microsoft servers.

Method-2: Increase Grace Period

To fix this issue, you can also increase the grace period, but after increased the grace period you will have to get any other genuine Windows key. It might also be possible that you have a MAK key and you didn’t activate it. Thus the MAK keys are not recycled, the number of activation on this has already exceeded. Here the process of how you can get the grace period:

Launch the Registry Editor as an admin.
Navigate to the given key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\OOBE\mediabootinstall

Now, change the value of mediabootinstall to 0.
After that, pen command with the elevated privileges, type the following command:

slmgr -rearm

Click on the Enter Key.
Restart your computer system for the changes to take effects.

Congratulations, grace period now added to your activation.
