How to Download Flash Games on PC

Flash games are fantastic- they are available all over the web, and are easy and free to play. If you have found a flash game and want to download it, then the game itself must fulfill some criteria. That’s why some Flash games can’t be downloaded. If you want to download Flash games on your PC, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox should be installed in your device. Here are the steps to download flash games in Chrome or Firefox.

Steps to download Flash Games on PC with Chrome

If you don’t have Chrome in your PC, download the browser first, and then follow these steps.

1.    Open the Chrome browser.

2.    Locate to the website from where you want to download the flash games.

3.    Open the game’s page and wait until it does not load completely.

If you want to play the game,

•    Make sure you’re on the game’s window.

•    Then click on the link click here to enable flash’.

•    Click ‘Allow,’ if prompted.

•    Click ‘Play’.

4.    When the page loads completely, click on the ‘More’ option button at the top-right corner to open Chrome’s menu.

5.    Take mouse cursor to the ‘More Tools.’ Doing so opens a pop-out menu.

6.    Select ‘Developer Tools’ from the pop-out menu. This will open the developer tools window.

7.    Click on the ‘Cursor’ icon at the top-left confer of the developer window.

8.    Now, click on the center of the flash game’s window you want to download. The game’s code will displays in the pop out of developer tools.

9.    Now, search for SWF file in the opened window. It is the link has ‘.swf’ in its end.

10.    When you find the flash game’s link, right click on it.

11.    Select ‘Open in new tab.’ A new window opens with your flash game now you can download it to your device.

12.    Wait for some seconds it will begin downloading automatically.

13.    If prompted to enter a name or select location to download, enter the required details and proceed.

14.    Click ‘keep’ on the alert window, when appear.

15.    Now, wait for the Flash game’s file to download.

Once the game’s file gets downloads, open it with a tool and play your game. The “.swf” can only be run with an SWF player or reader, both Windows and Mac doesn’t have any built-in program to run SWF file. Therefore, you need to download an application, download the app and enjoy your game.

Steps to download Flash Games on PC with Firefox

1.    Open the Firefox browser.

2.    Locate to the website from where you want to download the flash games.

3.    Open the game’s page and wait until it does not load completely.

4.    When the page loads completely, click on the ‘Menu’ icon at the top-right corner to open the Firefox menu.

5.    Take the mouse cursor to the ‘Web Developer.’ Doing so opens a pop-out menu.

6.    Select ‘Page Source.’ This will open a page where you’ll find the downloading link of the game.

7.    Open the ‘Find’ menu with ‘Ctrl/Command + F’ key.

8.    Type ‘SWF’ and press ‘Enter.’

9.    Now, search for SWF file. It is the link with the game’s name and has ‘.swf’ in its end.

16.    When you find the flash game’s link, right click on it.

10.    Select ‘Open in new tab.’ A new window opens with your flash game now you can download it to your device.

11.    Wait for some seconds it will begin downloading automatically.

12.    If prompted to enter a name or select location to download, enter the required details and proceed.

Once the game’s file gets downloads, open it with a tool (SWF Player or reader) and play your game.
