How to Create a Custom Retargeted Audience on Facebook the Manual Way

by William Clinkscales DB Developer/Tech, Affiliate IM
FB will diligently work hard to locate the person on FB using this script.

How it Works...

Step 1. Create a New FB Audience.

Step 2. Every time you create an audience, FB will supply you with the pixel code for that targeted audience.

Step 3. This is the code to be copied and pasted in the script below after 'START INSERT YOUR OWN...'

Step 4. Replace HTTP LINK, PRESERVE ALL QUOTES in both places in the script. (Top and Bottom) with your website url or offer.

Step 5. Save the file as a 'html' file.
ex. If you name the file 'Redirect' Save it as Redirect.html if you saved the file as a text file, simply change the .txt to .html

Step 6. Upload the file to your hosting account in the root directory or a folder you have created.

Now to start building your re-targeted audience list you simply promote your qualified link from your hosting acct.  referencing the script.
ex. http://YOUR_WEBSITE/YOUR_FILE

If you created a folder, which is what I do for easy reference, your link will be...
ex. http://YOUR_WEBSITE/YOUR_FOLDER/YOUR_FILE

Always use that link as opposed to sending folks directly to your website or offer and build your FB Retargeting List.

Enjoy.

@Jane it creates a FB responsive list. This list needs to be marketed to via FB or Downloaded as a cvs file to email to. Remember, folks have visited your site. You are re-targeting those folks mainly because most folks do not take action on the first exposure on anything, Does that make sense? Keeping your ad in their face will generate more sales.

However, if you are sending them to a landing page? You may want to create a bridge page.

Why you may ask?

Well, the redirect from your landing page should be to the script code hosted on your service provider, which redirects them to the offer. Yes, you now have a lead, probably receiving auto-responder messages. But, more powerful is that you also are building a FB audience of folks who only opted in to your page.

Cheers.
