How to clean your Turquoise Jewelry at home

2. Mild dish-washing soap - Mix one gentle dish-washing soap in a pot of warm water, wear gloves and immerse your stone in it for up to 20 minutes until it becomes cloudy. Rub gently with a toothbrush if necessary before putting them back into the pot and rinsing thoroughly with water until they become clear again. Some people like using baby shampoo as well because of its pH level.

3. Homemade silver cleaner - Lemon may not be the first option that comes to mind when you are speaking of cleaning precious silver. Lemon juice and oil is a great combination for polishing silver that is pure and sterling. 

You can use lemon juice and olive oil as a polish with cotton or linen cloths and polish one delicate metal at a time. With this homemade cleaner, what you see is what you get. The end result will be lightening any dark spots on your ring with stones, which is really high in quality.

4. Use a silver polish - After careful handling with water resistant, Turquoise is still not squeaky clean. To maintain the original color and remove dirt, you need to polish it. Polishing the silver ring with the silver cloth to remove dirt and grime, so that once again restore its former glory. 

You can also use a soft cloth when washing Turquoise by hand: gently wash off with mild soap or delicate (silk scarf for example) under running warm water. Soak for about five minutes until dirt is completely dissolved. Then use a soft cloth to wipe clean.
