Switching Mouse Tabs via “Control Panel”

  • In the beginning, hit the Start menu on your Windows 10 device.

Switching Mouse Buttons through Settings Menu

  • First and foremost, hit the “Windows” key and “I” button on your keyboard to launch settings menu. Hit the option “Devices.”
  • After that, tap on the “Mouse” option by navigating the left-hand side pane.
  • Now, you will find a complete list of customizable options related to mouse setup operations. Hit the first listed section that is for primary function.
  • Launch the list and choose “Right” to switch the primary function to right side button.

Using Registry Editor for Switching between Mouse tabs

Use Registry Editor on your device for swapping mouse function tabs accordingly. To do so, follow these instructions:

  • First and foremost, search for “Regedit” in the search pane. The search bar is located at the Start menu.
  • Hit the Registry Editor to launch from the provided listing.
  • Then, move to the mentioned keywords:

HKEY_CURRENT_ USER\ Control Panel\ Mouse.”

  • Go towards right-hand side section.
  • Then scroll your page downward until you view the option “SwapMouseButtons.”
  • Then, hit the particular option there.
  • After a while, a new prompt window will appear related to Edit String features.
  • Now, insert the value “1” into the value section for your primary tab.
  • Then, hit on “Ok” tab to save all your modifications.
  • In case you wish to reverse this operation and want to set up the default mouse button, then repeat the steps mentioned above and enter the data “0” into the value box. This action will reverse all your actions and switch left mouse click as the primary one.
