Here we will discuss some of the points that you must keep in mind when caring for the Australian plants online-

Some essential conditions for your plant to keep it alive?

The points mentioned below are highly critical.  But it may vary depending on the geographical location where you are residing. So here are the tips-

The size of your pot is the first problem

Choosing the correct size pot for your plants is extremely necessary when you buy plants online. The delivery is done in a standard-sized pot. But once you get it delivered you need to plant it in a bigger pot so that the plant roots can have enough room to grow. This is especially needed for Australian plants online. There could be various problems if the correct port size is not chosen. Here are the problems that might occur-

Drainage problems

Ideally, each pot should have a hole at the bottom to ensure that the excess water flows out of the pot. There are holes at the bottom generally which you must check out but that not the only problem.

The water retention capacity of the soil is sometimes very good too good for the plant. This means that the excess water does not spill away. Thus it gets sucked by the roots of the plants and they die. If you see that the soil is moist then understands that you need to lower the daily watering.

The soil type does not match the plant

It is often seen that despite watering and giving appropriate sunlight the plant still dies. This is because the soil in the pot is not ideal for the growth of the plant. Apart from water and sunlight the plants need different types of nutrients, minerals, and other substances present in the soil.

Also, note the pH value of the soil. Most of the Australian plants online will die if the soil is very acidic.

So, don't just put in ordinary soil from your backyard to fill the pot. It may not be ideal in terms of minerals, humus content, and the pH value.

How to get the right type of soil for my plant?

If you want to get the right type of soil then visit the nearest nursery. When you have spent so much money to buy plants online then spend some more to buy the right type of soil. It is the most critical thing for the survival of your plant. Most people don't understand this and think that watering the plant daily and keeping it under the sunlight is enough for the growth of the plant. Visit a well-known nursery and buy the soil for best suited for your plant. Although it may cost you some extra bucks still you will be sure that your plants do not die within a few days.

The secret tip- Learning about your plant

Most people buy Australian plants online just because they are fond of it. You have to know in detail about various things about your plant.
