How To Be Drug-Tested?
by Marina Adwerd BloggingTaking
dangerous drugs oftentimes start as a pleasure-inducing recreational activity.
However, due to continuous, after developing the satisfaction after taking
drug, addiction comes associated with craving signs.
Drug
addicts are noticed due to physical changes and emotional/social changes.
People who exhibits bloodshot in the eyes, dilated pupils, bad physical
appearance, weight loss or even weight gain and mannerisms. Emotional changes
involve severe mood swings, irritation and being out of control. Most drug
addicts also experiences anxiety, panic attacks, delusions or being out of
their mind. Lastly, social changes are exhibited by disassociation, engaging
into ruthless fights and work/school/relationship problems.
People
who experience these changes are mandatorily required to take drug tests. Drug
testing aims to reveal whether a person uses illicit drugs. The results can
help a person to be aware of his/her condition and to take the necessary steps
towards rehabilitation and recovery. There are several two favored ways on
determining whether a person uses drugs or not. These are: laboratory tests and
using home kits.
Laboratory Tests
These
are methods that are done by getting samples such as fingernails, blood, urine,
feces, or saliva and then examined in the laboratory by professionals.
Laboratories uses technologically advanced equipment used for Urinalysis, blood
tests and Fecalysis. The results are often communicated immediately, right
after the examination and are conclusive of all the details needed to know by
the patient. This is by far, the most effective way of drug testing
Using Home Kits
Sometimes to avoid the risk of falling in line and the hassle to go to a nearest hospital, people resort on home kits.Drug test kit is a portable, efficient and effective way of getting drug test results instantaneously. These kits are effective in testing for marijuana, methamphetamines, cocaine, barbiturates, ecstasy, and opiates. The kits include panel drug test kits, and drug specific test kit.
The results are released in a
span of five minutes with no lab required (except for some tests like
urinalysis). However, using these kits involves detection risks and patients
are also advised to visit laboratories to get appropriate results. Urine tests
are said to be 97-99% accurate and hair-based tests are more accurate because
it is more sensitive. Materials in hair-based test kits are more reactive and
deliver better results. These kits are available in some drug stores, Walmart
or online selling sites.
Drug addiction is a serious problem and necessary steps should be taken immediately. Using these two ways, a person can know his/her drug status. Truly, these tests are helpful in determining the future of those who are drug addicts.
