Microsoft family is one of the features provided by the company. It is beneficial to link multiple accounts especially those of children. It enables the parents to ensure the safety of their children by controlling their internet activities. With this feature, Microsoft Technical Support enables the parents to set restrictions on the websites and inappropriate content. The easiest way to set up a family account is by sending the invitation to join the group.

Benefits of a setting a Microsoft family

  • You start receiving a weekly report of your child’s activities and search history.
  • Set screen timing for various activities including study, games etc
  • Block mature websites and apps or use “Ask a parent” feature
  • You can also keep an eye on their shopping and transfer money to their account

After becoming aware of the benefits of this feature, you might want to set it up but will have a problem due to the lack of technical knowledge. You should not get distressed as we are simplifying the process for you.

  • The first thing you need to do is to Sign in to the account with your ID and Password

  • You will then be asked to type the email address/phone number
  • After providing the address click on the send an invite link
