How PhD in management is an added benefit to the MBA

The Doctoral Programme in Management is a unique academic course that strikes a perfect balance of rigorous course work with deep engagement in cutting-edge research. Ph.D. in management degree- The Scope and eligibility 

The PHD in management eligibility in any prime university of the country remains more or less the same- Master’s Degree or any other degree recognised equivalent thereto in (a) Business Administration or Economics or Commerce or in allied subjects or Engineering/ Technology with at least 55% marks OR (b) Post Graduate Diploma in Management recognised as equivalent to MBA by AICTE with 55% marks or equivalent grade therein. Some universities give preference to applicants with more than 3 year’s industry/ teaching/ practicing/ managerial/ professional experience. 

Such universities render broad areas of research such as Finance/ Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Human Resources/OrganisationalBehaviour, Operations Management / Decision Science, and Strategy/Entrepreneurship.

A doctoral degree in management trains you for senior leadership roles and organisational management positions in multinationals, nonprofit organisations, and government agencies.
