Method 1: Check your identity

When you have waited for enough, and now you want to get into action, you need to verify your authorization on the Facebook account. To do so, you need to do the following.

Go to the Facebook page and then subsequently on the verification process.
Type in your username, phone number or email address associated with this Facebook account
You then receive a 6-digit code sent to your phone or the email address.
After entering the new code, you need to make a new password and re-type the same which solves the unlock Facebook account issue.

Method 2: Wait for 48-96 hours and clear cache

It is the advice of experts that you should not try to fiddle with locked Facebook accounts.
Usually, Facebook reactivates the account after a couple of days, so it is not advisable to make extra attempts to unlock your account.
After 2-3 days, open your web browser, clear the cache, cookies and history and then try signing in again.

Go to the Facebook identification page
Enter your credentials to find your account and then click search.
Next, click on No longer have access to these.
Enter your new email address and type in again.
Click on reveal my trusted contacts.
After you type in your friend’s name, a set of instructions is sent, which is the code.

Ask them to send the code to you, after which you need to type in that code to regain access to your account.
