Spirit Airlines cancellation policy and process
If you have a flight booking with Spirit Airlines but unfortunately you have to cancel the flight booking due to any reason, you should be aware of Spirit Airlines cancellation policy and the process of cancellation. You can cancel your flight booking with Spirit Airlines by contacting the customer service of Spirit Airlines by dialing their number or through the website or you can visit the airport for the same.
Once you cancel the flight through any method, you will receive an email confirming the cancellation and then you can apply for the refund.
If you are canceling your flight you should go through the Spirit Airlines cancellation policy given below:
Ø If you are canceling your flight booking within the 24 hours of the cooling-off period after the flight booking providing the ticket was originally booked at least 7 days before the scheduled departure time of the flight, you will not be charged for the cancellation fee and the full amount of the unused ticket will be transferred in your bank in the original form.
Ø If you are canceling the flight after 24 hours of the flight booking time or canceling the flight booked within 7 days of the scheduled departure time of the flight, you need to pay the cancellation fee. The cancellation fee and the government taxes will be deducted from the ticket amount and the balance will be issued to your travel account which can be used for further flight bookings.
Ø You are not allowed to cancel the flight within 60 minutes of the scheduled flight departure time of the flight. If there is no show, no refund will be generated.
You can avoid the unwanted cancellation charges if you know the cancellation policy of Spirit Airlines.
Cancellation fee of Spirit Airlines:
As per the Spirit Airlines cancellation policy, if you are canceling a domestic flight online through manage booking, you will be charged for $90 as a cancellation fee and if you are canceling the flight by contacting customer service of Spirit Airlines over the phone or at the airport the cancellation fee will be $100.
