Host Club Season 2 at Ouran High School: What we know

The anime series "Ouran High School Host Club" was created by Yuki Yasumi and premiered in 2006 with 26 episodes. Bisco Hatori wrote the manga between 2002 and 2010. The author and illustrator is Bisco Hatori. 

After receiving an academic scholarship, she attends Ouran High School. During her search for a study spot, Haruhi Fujioka stumbles across a meeting of the Ouran High School Host Club where six male students entertain six female clients. The clumsy Haruhi breaks an expensive vase despite her good intentions. In order to make up for what she has lost, she joins the club as a "Host." 

Even when the boys discover that Haruhi is a girl, they keep her secret so that she can continue to host for as long as possible. 

Although a drama CD, a visual novel, and a live-action series have been released since then, the anime has yet to receive a second season. Ouran High School Host Club fans have been waiting for the second season since the first was released 15 years ago, but when will it be released? The possibility of a second season has still not been announced more than 15 years after the original series aired. English voice actor Todd Haberkorn claimed in a video a few years ago that he was approached by the creators about a Season 2, but nothing ever came of it. Although it will be difficult to accept the fact that there will never be a third anime season, it is inevitable. After anime shows finish their seasons, they often go over a decade into their next season, such as Digimon Adventure 02, which ended in 2001 but released the movie "Digimon Adventure tri. 1: Saikai" fourteen years later. Ouran High School Host Club has a number of things working in its favor, including the fact that Bones Animation Studio still exists, the fact that the original director is no longer working on anything, and the fact that the show's popularity is only gaining. The next entry in the franchise maybe a movie or a reboot rather than Season 2, but this would still be just as exciting for fans who have been waiting so long for the next episode. Since "Ouran High School Host Club" is indeed rumored to be returning for a second season, it is reasonable to assume that new episodes won't be released until the middle of 2022, since Bones has been delayed by COVID-19 and will release "My Hero Academia 5" and "The Case Study of Vanitas" soon (Anime News Network).
