In an average case of hair transplant, the follicles are implanted for the particular densities ranging between 30 to 40 follicular units per square centimeter. By this density, one needs nearly 2000-3000 follicular units to cover the frontal area as well as the mid-scalp in the highest grade of baldness. In the case of high-density, the number of follicular units is increased by double which means the density of a maximum of 60 to 75 follicular units per square centimeter and in this particular case, the graft clusters of two to four follicular units will be required.
