High Cholesterol: Natural Treatment

by Shir G. Founder and CEO at Gutman Herbs

Avoid Industrial Foods
Industrial foods like ready-made cakes and cookies, snacks, ready-made spreads, ready-made schnitzels, and the like raise the level of bad cholesterol in the body.
It is recommended to also remove from the menu simple carbohydrates, mined fats, and fried foods, and to confiscate foods that contain preservatives,
which adversely affects liver activity and metabolism.

Tofu
Moderate eating of soy foods, such as tofu, may reduce bad cholesterol levels, according to studies at Harvard University, thanks to chemical compounds found in soy called isoflavones.
These compounds have a positive effect on the arteries, for example, they have been found to increase the elasticity of the arteries which contributes to improving the health of the vascular system.
In addition, tofu is rich in protein and low in fat, so it is an excellent substitute for beef.

Relax
Stress and mental strain bring about the oxidation of cholesterol, so treat yourself to a few minutes every day for yourself - take a few deep breaths, go for a walk on the beach or in nature, practice yoga, take a hot bath, or anything else that can help you relax.

Exercise
It is important to incorporate exercise regularly.
Studies show that aerobic exercise has a beneficial effect on HDL cholesterol levels. It is recommended to perform aerobic exercise for 60 minutes, three times a week.
