Take A Heart Healthy Moment

With our lives being so busy filled with doing work, family care, chores, and more for everyone else throughout our day, week, month, & year…. It’s important to carve out moments of time for your own heart healthy care!

Often times we tend to neglect ourselves, we say we’re too busy to get a bit of exercise to de-stress or perhaps that’s just not your ”thing”. However, in reality we absolutely need to consider our own health first as vital to our physical and mental well being…. Because when you’re solely focused on work, people or things outside of yourself 100% of the time, you will not function at peak performance or the with the best attitude.

We all know that getting enough sleep is critical to our well being, but tend to ignore the fact that we all need to de-stress our bodies and our minds.  Taking a moment to exercise daily, even doing something as simple as taking a short walk will help to relax your mind, improve your circulation and allow your body to feel better.

On days that I skip some form of exercise, I notice that I will have less overall energy and desire to get through my day. Our body and mind work together as one unit. When your mind feels low, depressed, frustrated, fatigued, angry or any other negative emotional feeling, you may want to get up and move more. When we take a moment to move around, or several different moments throughout our day, we increase the circulation of our internal fluids which naturally causes us to feel emotionally better.

Moving more will help refresh your brain, and get through the day. Refreshing your brain may result in more desire to continue with your work or helping others. You also want to replenish your brain with vital nutrients that assist to spark creativity, focus and drive! Nature has a tendency to help relax your mind and may even help to clear out negative thoughts.

When you refresh your brain, you may find that you have also gained more energy and drive to get you through your day. Your focus will be a bit sharper and this may also provide you with the ability to be more creative. Taking the time for a walk in the woods at a local state park will help you even more. Getting in touch with nature has a tendency to do that to people. Nature relaxes the mind, clears the head and allows you time to regenerate your health without feelings of pressure or stress.

Sometimes it just takes a little push to get yourself going. Whether you consider yourself a morning, afternoon or evening person, do something to Energize your body. If supplements are your thing.... A good supplement to help you get into the energy zone is to add Energize.
