One full rotation takes about 30 minutes to complete. After sunset, the wheel gets illuminated by a system of 2,000 LED lights and has custom displays during holidays and special events.

While in Las Vegas, you can visit a unique museum called the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement or 'The Mob Museum'. It has been housed in a Neoclassical building, which dates back to the early 20th century and was used in those times as a post office and courthouse. The famous Kefauver Committee hearings were held here in the mid-20th century, which exposed some ugly truths about the organised crimes that were happening not only in Las Vegas but across the country.
