Hair Transplants At The Dr Serkan Aygin Clinic

After a final inspection, you are ready to begin your procedure. Hair transplant surgeries are minimally invasive, outpatient procedures. Before the operation, patients are offered the choice of local anaesthesia or general sedation. These are both completely optional but will result in a largely pain-free experience.

Any hair transplant procedure begins by removing healthy hair follicles (grafts) from the donor area - typically at the back of the head. The next step depends on whether you are receiving an FUE or DHI hair transplant. Either way, the hairs are implanted into the recipient area. The entire procedure lasts from 4-6 hours, afterwards, patients are encouraged to return to their hotel and rest.

On the next day, you will again return to our clinic for a final evaluation. During this appointment, you will receive detailed instructions for further care and all necessary medications to ensure successful healing. At this time, you will also receive LLLT laser hair therapy to stimulate the healing of the transplanted hair.
