Microsoft Store doesn’t open

If the Microsoft Store doesn’t launch at all, try restarting your computer, and you should be good to go. If it doesn’t work, use the following steps:

Start a system search for PowerShell.
Then, right-click the appropriate result and click on Run as Administrator.
Type the following command and hit the Enter key:

powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $Env:SystemRoot\WinStore\AppxManifest.xml

Close the PowerShell window and check if the desktop launches the Microsoft Store successfully.

Damaged Cache

In this case, your first response should be to clear the cache. Then, use these steps:

Press the Windows + R keys together and insert “wsreset.exe” and hit the OK option.
In a few seconds, a blank Command Prompt window will open, followed by Microsoft Store.

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState

Missing Microsoft Store

Downloading Issues

On the left panel, give right-click on Profile and select Permissions.
Click on Advanced and checkmark the box for ‘Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object.’ Click on OK, restart your desktop, and then open the Store.

This error code appears when the server is down, or the internet connection is poor. Try resetting the proxy settings on your desktop using the following steps:

Open Run, and insert the “cmd” command.
Hit the Enter key and insert the following command:
- netsh winhttp reset proxy

Hit the Enter key, then restart your PC.
