Andaman is blessed with magical vistas and dreamy sites that can steal the heart of any traveller easily. The beautiful sunsets are one of the natural charms that one can enjoy at some of the famous spots of Andaman.

If you have never seen the sunset at the beach, then you have missed a fascinating event that humans can enjoy. You can change that soon if you are planning to visit Andaman. There are many spots in Andaman where the sunset views are truly commendable! Read on to know more:

Radhanagar Beach, Havelock Island:

Radhanagar is a very popular beach of Havelock Island where you should head before evening to enjoy the stunning vistas of sunset. Various elements of nature become harmonious at this time as the sun slowly sets perfectly complementing the smooth water waves!

Take your mat or hammock with you to adore these views while relaxing at the beach. This is also a good time to capture some romantic beach photos!

Munda Pahad, Chidiya Tapu:

Munda Pahad is the southern tip of South Andaman where you can reach by hiking through famous Chidiya Tapu Beach. The walk is scenic as you have to pass through shoreline forests accompanied by sea views.

The peak of Munda Pahad is ideal for enjoying the panoramas of the sun setting behind Rutland Island, ocean waves hitting the rocks on three sides and melodious chirping of birds! You can also savour the sunset views from Chidiya Tapu if you don’t wish to go for a hike.

Neil’s Cove, Havelock Island:

If you are going to visit Radhanagar Beach, then you can’t miss Neil’s Cove at any cost. The gorgeous lagoons at this place are perfect for enjoying snorkelling and sunset. The water is shallow and clear; which is why tourists come here for snorkelling.

Surrounded by lush green forests, this beach is perfect for a photo shoot as well with amazing rock formations and coral reefs. This cove is much secluded and an ideal location for a private sunset!

Sunset Beach, Neil Island:

The real name of this beach is Laxamanpur Beach, but it is popular with the name of sunset beach due to the captivating sunset views which one can cherish here! Usually, this beach starts attracting huge crowds in the evening as people come here mainly to enjoy the marvellous views.

There are many food stalls to make your trip delicious along with fun-filled! Stroll through the seashore or sip on your tea while admiring the landscape. Avoid going for a swim during high tides for safety purposes.

Kanaidera Beach, South Andaman:

People visiting New Wandoor Beach in South Andaman can take a 20 minutes’ walk to reach Kanaidera Beach in order to see the beautiful sunset. The uprooted sea mahuas, exposed sand bars and beautiful sea caves make the landscape worth watching here, especially during sunset!

Visit this beach during low tides; otherwise, you won’t be able to cross a creek that meets the sea during the high tides.
