the city's popular landmark. It was built in the year 1932 and is still the
largest steel arch bridge in the world. This bridge accommodates two railway
lines, walkways, and eight lanes for road traffic. You can book the Sydney
Bridge Climb if you wish to get a bit adventurous and get to the summit, which
is about 135 metres high. A visit to the museum located in south-eastern pier
would allow you to know more about the history of this bridge.
You would
also love to visit the Royal Botanic Garden, which offers a tranquil place
amidst the hustle-bustle of the city. It is located quite close to the Sydney
Opera House and can be reached by taking a walk from there. It was established
in the early nineteenth century and houses orchids, tall trees, ferns, and palm
groves. You'll also come across the Palace Rose Garden while exploring this
place. It has more than 1,800 roses. A popular venue for events called 'Domain'
can also be visited during your trip to this garden.
