by Jeniffer Leio Excutive

Internet Explorer is a World Wide Website browser which runs on Microsoft Windows operating system.  Some of the older websites have some strict requirements regarding browser, and for this, the most common browser is Internet Explorer. However, this browser doesn’t run properly in Mac and not a default browser on the system anymore.

Website developers have stated that a few websites depend on Internet Explorer’s unique feature for it to work more appropriately.  If these websites were visited with any other browsers, there would be no guarantee they will work correctly there.

Internet Explorer is one of the most excellent website browser used on the Internet. But Safari, Google Chrome, Edge and Mozilla Firefox have later cut into that superior position, which provides faster browsing with excellent security.

Here are the steps you can follow to browse some website designed for particular browsers, which include Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox, on your Mac.

Different Browsers

It all mainly depends on the needs and speed requirements of the users, but most PC users have many browsers to use but only one that they use as default. If we talk about Mac users, this is usually Safari. Having other browsers will not affect the performance of your PC or your default browser.

In the early years, website developers only focused on a particular browser or a specific operating system when they planned to build their websites. It was not because they wanted to keep people away, it was just that there are so many different types of browsers so it was difficult to predict that how a web would look from one platform to another.

Here are some browsers you should install on your Mac:

  • Chrome
  • Opera
  1. Use Safari on Your Mac

Safari is an Apple’s default browser which gives you an entrance to the internet. On Safari users can browse whatever websites they like, bookmark their favorites websites, and open many sites by opening a new tab. Safari helps you to track your particular site by monitoring your browsed pages on other websites, this process is called ‘cross-site tracking.

Here are the steps to use Safari as your default browser:

  • Pick the User Agent item, from the Safari’s Develop menu. The list of all the available user agents comes on your screen, which permits Safari to use in place of Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, even iOS versions of Safari.
  • Create your selection from the menu list. With the help of the new user agent, the browser will reload the recent page.
  • You have to rest the user agent back to the Default setting after visiting the website.
  1. Use Microsoft Edge on Your Mac

Microsoft Edge for Mac creates a great browsing experience, in this browser content and files sync seamlessly in the background so that users can do multiple things at the same time. Microsoft Edge contains features like the Hub and permits users to arrange the website in a way which cuts all the unnecessary items, making it easier to search, and users can quickly view and manage their content.

Here are the steps to use Microsoft Edge as your default browser:

  • Run Windows 10 in a Virtual machine.
  • After purchasing it, you will install the virtual machine program.
  • Then you can run the Microsoft Edge browser on your Mac.
