Generating birthday party ideas and plans

by Career Canvas Career coach

Birthday is one of the most important days of our life, that’s why we celebrate our birthday every year. Birthday celebration can be someone’s best memories. But to do so one need an amazing birthday party ideas.

Select the perfect theme

Birthday theme should be decided considering the age, gender or likings of the person whose birthday is going to be celebrated. Birthday party themes for Children give you the opportunity to make it dreamlike. Regarding the theme, decorations and activities, the days before the event seem to be part of the celebration itself. It does not need to be elaborate - children will be happy with a small party as long as they feel special. Even a single party requires planning; the sooner you start organizing, the sooner the emotion will start and the less detail you will need to work the same day.

Talking to the boy/girl

The birthday boy or girl will probably have ideas about the type of party he wants, so get involved in planning. Let the child choose the theme, help in shopping and decorating, and participate in the cake kitchen. Doing so helps to spread anticipation; this way, the focus is not put on a few hours on a single day.

Although it is more effective to do all this, it is fun to work with your child towards an important goal. In addition, you will have the reward of enjoying with your friends the magical day that you helped to plan.

Guest list

Make sure your child's best friend is free before setting the date. Including classmates, think "everyone" - all children, all children or all girls - if you want to avoid hurt feelings. If you do not invite many classmates, the general rule is to ask for as many children as your child's age plus one. But keep in mind the activities you are planning. A larger number of children - at least eight or ten - may be better for team games at a 5-year party, but you only want three guests for a 7-year-old party.

Invitation

Invitations for the party should be sent by mail three weeks before the party. Even if your child's school allows the distribution of invitations in the premises (many do not, unless the entire class is included), it is best not to do so. In this way, children who are not invited are less likely to feel underestimated.

1. Include date, location (with directions), delivery time and collection, and R.S.V.P. information.

2. Write down everything you bring, such as a swimsuit and a towel.

3. Say if you are going to lunch or dinner.

4. Mention a specific entertainment, such as a movie.

5. Calling parents who did not respond the week before the party; After all, the invitations are lost.

Take the best preparation to make your beloved one’s birthday memorable for his/ her entire life. Check every arrangement before the event and don’t forget to give a reminder to the guest a day before over phone.
