Gain access to the possibility of greatness within you through group mentor coaching for ICF
In order to apply for an ICF credential, you are required to
have been coached for a minimum of 10 hours by a qualified Mentor Coach who
holds an ICF credential of the same or higher level for which you are applying.
Of the required 10 hours, 07 hours can be completed as group mentor coaching
for ICF, while the remaining 03 hours must be one-on-one. The 10 hours of group
mentor coaching for ICF should be spread over a period of 03 months to provide
enough time to allow for incorporation of the learning and development, and
reflection of ICF Core Competency skills in the mentee coach.
The possibility of greatness lies firmly with you. With
coaching, you gain access to all skills, expertise and wisdom to make the right
choices and follow through the path of greatness. Coaching is a non-directive
way to help you increase awareness of your issues, strengths and goals, and
work on them for a positive change. You get from where you are and directed
where you want to be.
In each call of the group mentor coaching for ICF,
one or more ICF Core Competencies will be focused, and you will have the
opportunity to discuss with other mentee coaches what it means and put it into
play during their coaching practice. Each group cannot have more than 10
participants where the mentees will have the opportunity to coach and to be
coached across the full series of calls for group mentor coaching for ICF, and
receive feedback from the peers and the Mentor Coach.
Creating a generous
space for learning and experimentation
While the attainment of goals established for mentor
coaching is important, it is vital to create a generous space for learning and
experimentation. As a mentee, you will be able to experience increased
awareness of your strengths and coaching style, and explore and define
practical ways to grow your coaching practice in line with the ICF Core
Competencies.
