When Buying Full Face Snorkeling Mask, There Are Few Things To Know And Even Repeat:

Snorkeling Depth: these masks are not suitable for diving deeper than 10 - 15 feet. Due to their design, one can't reach the nose and equalize the pressure in the ears, thus diving deeper than 10 feet can be really uncomfortable, painful and in the end - dangerous! Why? If something should happen (eardrum burst!), sharp pain in ears can disorient the swimmer/diver and prevent it from reaching the surface in time. This is NOT 'just another' warning/disclaimer, this is the serious warning!

Easy Breathing: unlike 'normal' diving masks, which are actually two pieces used together (mask and breathing tube), full face masks are designed to be one piece of equipment. Since the mask cover full face (hence the name) breathing is possible via both nose and mouth. To ease the breathing even further, best full face masks are 'dual air flow' design with separate breathing chambers (for short - air in and air out don't mix!). This also prevents mask fogging and decrease the possibility of a gag reflex which can happen of course, but more often when using 'normal' diving masks! Full face masks are great for slow swimming and shallow diving - low-intensity work. However, fast swimming and snorkeling are not recommended with these masks.

Dry Top Design: special valve(s) in the breathing tube prevent water from entering the tube and the mask. This enables the swimmer to start breathing right away on the surface. These valves work well, as long as the mask is in an upright position (most models). If some water enters the mask, bottom/chin valve helps with water drainage.

180° Viewing Angle: full face masks commonly come with wide viewing angle, helping the swimmer to have an extraordinary field of view. To help with observing the underwater world even further, most of the masks have the flat viewing window, at least the central section. Although these masks are not suitable for deep diving, transparent parts are mostly made of durable polycarbonate, which can withstand, up to the point, various impacts and mechanical abuse in general!

GoPro Compatible: Some masks come with permanent GoPro compatible mount, some masks come with removable GoPro mounts, while some masks are not designed with GoPro in mind. However, even such masks accept (mostly) clip-like GoPro compatible mounts and can be used for making underwater videos. Permanent GoPro mounts create minimal additional drag, so if you like to make underwater videos (always or occasionally), a good full face mask with permanent GoPro mount is recommended.

Colors & Sizes: these masks are designed to be leak-proof, but only if proper mask size is used. Also, it is very important to properly adjust mask straps to hold the mask firmly in place. Some facial hair is OK, but people with beards can have issues with leaks. Most of the masks come in different colors - dark colors will not spook the fish and other marine life, but bright tube top is highly recommended for additional visibility by other swimmers, divers, and boats, too.

Of course, there are other little details that are different from the mask to mask, which can play an important role when choosing the right full face mask.

Full Face Snorkeling Masks and Fishing Ubesto Full face snorkeling masks provide the fisherman with the unique perspective from the surface and excellent field of view.

When Ubesto in shallows, the full face mask is the better choice than a traditional diving mask for several other reasons: practically 100% fog-free design, dry top tube, breathing on both mouth and nose, etc. However, if the sea is deeper than 10 feet, go for a traditional mask/breathing tube combination.

Also, when searching something from the surface (lost anchor anyone?), a wider field of view is the very important feature.

Knowing both full-face snorkeling masks' strengths and weaknesses are very important to use them in the best possible way and even more important, in the safest possible way.
