frog and the nightingale

by Tripti M. advicer
There is a very nice poem written by vikram seth which you might have studied in your junior classes. I was just going through it so thought to share a stanza of this beautiful poem. It says- day by day the nightingale grew more sorrowful and pale. Night on night her tired song zipped and trilled and bounced along, till the birds and breasts grew tired .at a voice so uninspired and the ticket office gross crashed, and she grew more morose- for her ears were now addicted to applause quite unrestricted, and to sing into the night all alone gave no delight.   It is just a stanza if you find it interesting will youll surely do then do read it. Its really easy and simple and has a deep meaning too. Simply read it. It's amazing. Thank you. Keep smiling and keep helping people in need. Take care friends.
