Fortnite's Map Is Constantly Evolving Today, And It Is Great

by Phyllis H. Game gold and others service Fortnite's current, large comet event was the beginning of something new for the cheery battle royale game. These days, you do not have to wait around for a special occasion to see the map shift. Every upgrade is an opportunity to see something different.

Case in point: there was a little crater at Tilted Towers, just with the new 4.2 patch, it has been full of. Epic Games, the developers, also added some smaller details that make it seem as though a construction team has been hard at work salvaging the wreckage.

That is not all. Weeks before, the landing spot wasn't very developed--catastrophe had just struck.

These are just a few of the very noticeable changes. Players are reporting smaller tweaks all around the map, all of which impact the game visually without messing up some of their game play with Fortnite Items.

It is likely that Epic is doing a gradual build-up for something big at the end of the season. The map hides too many unexplained secrets for Epic to simply let those details go to waste. But right now, I do not care what it all "means." It feels cool to load up my favorite game and understand that something will differ. It's constantly changing. It feels rewarding to see it happen in real-time, since I understand that anyone who performs subsequently won't get to see exactly what I did. It's also cool to feel like the multiplayer does have a "story," albeit a extremely understated one. These aren't things that I normally experience within a competitive multiplayer match.

Epic is smart to keep the spirit of the comet going, and they do not even need to keep destroying the map to pull it off.
