#1 OPERATE THE QUICKBOOKS INSTALL DIAGNOSTIC TOOL


  • Choose the option "ignore" tab appearing on the message of error and complete the QuickBooks installation. Don't start QuickBooks software.


  • Start your computer again.


  • In case the installation of QuickBooks is incomplete, then download the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool and run it.


  • Reboot your operating system.


  • Turn the built-in Administrator on and install QuickBooks within the built-in administrator account. 


#2 START THE BUILT-IN OR HIDDEN ADMINISTRATOR

 

Carry out the following steps to start the built-in Administrator


step#1 Start the Built-in Administrator


  • Hit the Windows button on your keyboard.


  • Type down "CMD," and right-click on "CMD/ Command Prompt/ cmd.exe" then select "Run as Administrator".


  • Write down "net user administrator/active:yes" in the command prompt window, then press enter.


  • Note: if any error pops up, type "net user administrator /active."


step#2 shift to the built-in administrator account


  • Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete altogether on your keyboard, then select "Switch User Windows 8 users" press the "Windows" button and on the display's upper right segment, select the user icon.


  • Again press "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" simultaneously and select the "default Administrator account" icon.


step#3 Hide the built-in Administrator account


  • Press the "Windows" button on your keyboard.


  • In the search tab, enter "CMD," then right-click on the "CMD/ Command Prompt/ cmd.exe" then select the "Run Administrator."


  • Write "net user administrator/active:no" in the command prompt and press enter.


step#4 modify the security settings of the installation directory


  • Surf to the "C:\Program Files\Common files." 


  • Right-click on the "common Files" folder and select "properties."


  • Choose the "Edit" option in the" security" tab, later choose the "Users" in the "Group or user names" icon.


  • Within the "permission for users," allow permissions for 1)modify 2)Read and Execute 3)List Folder Contents 4)Read 5)write.


  • Select "Apply" and press "OK."


#5 install QuickBooks


  • Install QuickBooks Desktop over again.


  • Shift to the first user login after the installation of QuickBooks Desktop.
