In this case, the blood sugar cannot enter the cells, and this leads to severe complications. The rate of diabetes is increasing at an alarming rate with obesity being one of the major contributing factors to the illness. Keeping diabetes in check means curbing some foods from the diet. However, when it comes to eating fruits, the information is very misleading. Fruits are a delicious way to satisfy hunger and meet nutritional needs.
