Assam:

Gujarat:

Gujarat having the most colorful outfit called as Chaniya and choli or it can be Ghagra choli and Lehenga choli for the religious festival such as Navratri. The dupattas that they wear are also called as odhni. Men wear Chudidar Pajama and Kurta with vibrant turbans.

Punjab:

Rest of India has adopted a beautiful outfit which comes from Punjab. The women wear salwar kameez where the bottoms wear known as Patiala originated from this state. The footwear is also unique; they wear shoes which are known as juti. The men of this state wear Kurta Pajamas with headgear such as Pagri.

Maharashtra:

The ethic clothing in Maharashtra is saree paired with choli known as the blouse. The man wears the dhoti with headgear topi. These women's clothing is also made up of cotton and sometimes of silk. The commonly found color in Maharashtrian sarees is red and green.

Jammu and Kashmir:

Jammu and Kashmir is home to a variety of different fashion. There is a different variation for Hindu and Muslim women for Pherans they wear. Hindu women headdress called Taranga and muslim women wear Abaya. Men wear turbans called as Pherans.

Karnataka:

Saree is the Karnataka’s traditional clothing for women. It is made of silk so the Karnataka is known as silk hub that produces sarees made of Kanchipuram and Kanjivaram Silk as well as the variety of brocades and chiffon. The men wear Lungi with Angavastram.

Kerala:

The women in Kerala wear Saree that are often made of Kanchipuram Silk or Benarasi Silk. The commonly ethic wear cloth in Kerala is Mundu where it is a state version of lungi.
