FaceBook MarketPlace Technique

by Peter C. Marketing Consultant
I Run a few eBay stores and we are looking to move into Facebook market place as well as some other avenues. While looking around on the market place I noticed ads that stores could pay for to promote whatever they wanted to sell.

When you comment on someones post, it sends them a message. When you comment on one of these ads, it works more like a regular post and it "leaves" a comment.

People in the Facebook marketplace are already in a "buyers mindset" If you can give them a better deal or you can give them something that pairs well with what they are looking for, you have a perfect storm for sales.

It actually shows how many sales where in the last hour as well as how many people viewed the item in the last hour. The items I was looking at had hundreds of sales and thousands of views PER HOUR!

Lets say you see a tablet, (like I did when I was searching) you could go on Amazon and get a AFF link for that tablet cheaper then the vendor is selling it for and tell people "Hey guys, I found it cheaper on amazon, you can grab it here: 'AFF LINK HERE'"

With thousands of people looking at that exact item, You can siphon off a good amount of traffic for your aff link.

I think this should go without saying, but don't expect the links to stay up forever. At best you might have a day but most likely a few hours.

You can do the same thing that pairs well with the tablet. Some sort of bundle package on Amazon comes to mind.

So the next step in this process is to make sure you get to the top of the comments. Have a few other accounts that you can comment on your comment with the AFF LINK in it to jet up the orginal comment up to the top or most relevant. This will lend a bit of social proof as well. Something like "THANKS BRO, JUST GOT MINE AND YOU SAVED ME $20 BUCKS" goes a long way.

Now the next logical step is to do this on every sponsored ad you can find in the Facebook Marketplace. There are litterally hundreds you can post on.

You can spin this a ton of different ways, using CPA offers, shopify store etc.

If you want to go a uber cheap route, instead of setting up a landing page for the aff link, just you twitter. Set up a "Deals" Twitter account and tweet out the amazon link to what you are trying to promote and then use the twitter link.

Guys I hope you have liked the method, I hope you enjoy me being back as much as I do.

Any questions leave them down below.
